It is important to note that there is no such thing as having an American economy. This is because as we move towards the 21st century, a country will have goods, money or services that do not know any borders. Other challenges include the kind of skills most valuable in the coming century and how a country would best ensure that all its citizens get a share within the new global economy would face the United States in the 21st century. It follows that the global economy is living through transformations which would rearrange the politics as well as economics in the new century. For instance, although within the Canadian context, they do add more substantive value, but to majority of them, they do not. This has increased the effect of the increased gap between the few in the first group and everyone which is increasing. There is surge on the interest of basic income with more debating from the Canadian government . Hence, symbolic analysts are getting increasingly insulated from other Americans through intensified residential segregation in terms of income, wider gap on the opportunity to education, less progressive tax system as well as more privatization of services, from the child care towards personal security. This means that in the 21st century, the symbolic analysts continue being seceding from large diversity in the Canadian politics towards homogenous enclaves, within which their earnings do not require redistribution to people of less fortune than themselves.
