“In my mind Dad was perfect…” (walls) This was Jeannette’s initial thought of her dad. She had so much faith in her dad and his plans to build her the glass castle. Throughout the Novel, The Glass Castle, is noticeable that the faith Jeannette had for her dad slowly starts to fade; disappointment after disappointment.
