Personal Narrative: The Glass Castle

The Glass Castle is an inspiration story that has inspired a lot of people to write and or talk about their own hardships in life. In life most people are born without a mental illness and they go through life not knowing what it is like to have one unlike me. When I was born I had Dyslexia and ADHD so I had a hard time in english, reading and staying awake for most of the day. I could never understand social cues or slang so I was out casted from my class because it seem like I have a curse and that nobody wants it. In life I had a few friends that come and go and sometimes they become my own worst enemies to come in the future. Like Jeannette Walls said in the Glass Castle “Life is a drama full of tragedy and comedy. You should learn to enjoy the comic episodes a little more.” So I usually try to look on better side of things and leave the weights in life behind you. When my parents told me this I began to work hard to stay with my classmates and move on to the third grade. I was luck that I was able to make it to the third grade with my and was placed with Mrs. Nickels class with a my friend Nick. I could not finish my quizzes and test on time so I had to finish them in class which is the first time I actually remember have to finish a quiz later on in class. Before halfway through third grade is about the time I started to take my focusing medicine so that I can stay up through the day due to my ADHD and be able to work on my homework late at night. Then on my birthday I brought in brony stars into class, I was carrying them around and passing them out I was tripped by Hanna Brown by accident but luckily none of the stars were
