Why? The reason is called Caring comes with a Price. No, it isn’t saying people are charging the people in need to help them, but in other ways. Like the person is lying and using them, not everyone is like this, though. Sometimes people really need help, just there are some people in the world who like lying and using people to their advantage. This is applied to The Giving Tree is because the way the boy treats the tree when he is older. "I want to buy things and have fun. I want some money?"
"I want a house to keep me warm," he says."I want a wife and I want children, and so I need a house. Can you give me a house ?" These are good examples. Why? They support the claim, the boy goes to the tree who cares about him deeply and would do anything in the world for him and he asks her for things she doesn’t have. She is a tree, the boy takes her apples to sell which is ok, but he takes her branches to build a house. She may have the materials but if he takes all her materials she is just which she turned out to be in the end of the Giving
