The Giving Tree Meaning

Everyone does this. Always reading the words in the book not even thinking about the real meaning. In the Giving tree, it really is only talking about how the much the tree loves the boy and gives him everything. Did you ever ever think that sometimes the young boy was just using the tree when he was older so he could whatever he wants. Shel Silverstein the author of the Giving Tree really only gave the point Sharing is Caring. People whenever they read the book they read what is in front of them how the tree cares about the boy so much and the boy loves the tree, but no one really thinks about the selfish boy and the selfless tree. How sometimes caring comes with a price.

Why? The reason is called Caring comes with a Price. No, it isn’t saying people are charging the people in need to help them, but in other ways. Like the person is lying and using them, not everyone is like this, though. Sometimes people really need help, just there are some people in the world who like lying and using people to their advantage. This is applied to The Giving Tree is because the way the boy treats the tree when he is older. "I want to buy things and have fun. I want some money?"
"I want a house to keep me warm," he says."I want a wife and I want children, and so I need a house. Can you give me a house ?" These are good examples. Why? They support the claim, the boy goes to the tree who cares about him deeply and would do anything in the world for him and he asks her for things she doesn’t have. She is a tree, the boy takes her apples to sell which is ok, but he takes her branches to build a house. She may have the materials but if he takes all her materials she is just which she turned out to be in the end of the Giving
