Something that I've learned while reading chapter 11 is that there is one person in the entire community that knows about all the memories and features of the real world. Jonas becomes the receiver of memories and the giver transmits the memories to him. Jonas’s experience reminds me of when I first moved to Indiana from Florida. The transmitting of the memories made Jonas think more. Jonas became a different person based on what he knew about snow, sunshine, and color. Jonas became more curious about everything, and experiences the memories over and over again. The book tells us that Jonas dreams about sledding, he is constantly thinking about why they made something a certain way. When I first moved to Indiana, I stayed up thinking about
