The Giver maybe the title of a book and movie they focus around the same plot but are very different. In this essay I will contrast the community, Jonas, and Asher in the book to the movie’s community, Jonas, and Asher. The community, Asher, and Jonas have the the same characteristics or qualities. They go down different paths. So here are their contrast. Some of Jonas´s qualities are different in the movie than the book. In the book Jonas had pale blue eyes in the movie he had a birthmark.
