The first step to physically preparing for a first date is starting with a manicure. In my opinion, disgusting finger nails are such a turn off; a girl does not want that to be the reason there is not a second date, that is just plain embarrassing. The second factor to take into consideration is the girl’s outfit. It is essential to not overdress because the girl does not want to look like a try-hard. So, to avoid the wrong impression, the girl wants to wear something simple, but cute. For example, dark jeans and a fitting shirt that does not look frumpy. Another component to physically preparing for a first date is the girl’s hair and makeup. In my opinion, doing hair for a date is much easier than make up simply because running a flat-iron though it quickly will suffice. Make up, on the other hand, is to be taken seriously. Obviously the girl wants to look pretty, but she should not wear much more makeup than she usually wears; she does not want to pretend to be someone she is not. Another element that is vital is the use of deodorant; no girl wants to be remembered as the pit-stain freak. So, apply a good amount of deodorant, but not too much because she does not want it rubbing off onto her shirt, which will leave the notorious, white stain. Before a first date, a girl always feels an assortment of emotions. The three most recognizable emotions usually are nervousness, excitement, and happiness. It is critical not to let one emotion overtake the others because it will upset the balance.
