Oh, lovely, the feisty sister speaks out for the guy she suddenly loves, I guess? How are we supposed to guess that she has feelings for him when she's been in captivity for most of the book? First time novelist but long time comedian Amy Schumer has captured my attention yet again. I love her stand up so I knew I was going to enjoy her book, but I had no idea I would love is as much as I did. The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo being one of many books written by comedians I have read, I fully expected it to be like all of the others, but I was so wrong. Similar to other comedian-turned-authors, Schumer opened up about the struggle to break into the industry, her sexual history, and sexism in the industry, but unlike others she touched on so much more than that.…

Books are completely objective, people either love them or hate them. They will either go down in history or vanish into the mist. The “Lord of the Rings” (LotR) trilogy is one of the most notorious series ever, written about an unassuming hobbit named Frodo who goes on a journey to save the world (Tolkien). In contrast, the “Shadow Wars” trilogy is completely unheard of, despite being written by the writers of Star Wars and The Uncanny X-men. The Shadow Wars (SW) trilogy is written about a Nelwyn named Willow Ufgood (or Thorn Drumheller) and the princess Elora Dannan who have to realign the twelve magic domains in order to save the kingdom of Angwyn and the planet (Claremont and Lucas).…

The clip I have to comment is about the film “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” and I am going to analyze it in order to prove the importance of the light in the highlight point in a film and how it reveals information to the spectator. In the clip exists some scenes about two characters; Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig) and Martin Vanger (Stellan Skarsgård). The first scene takes place at Martin’s Kitchen. On it is possible to see an open space with straight lines and white colours, with an issolated light coming from the kitchen isle, very strong there, but very soft in the rest of the room.…
