Dear Mrs. Asselin, I have recently read an amazing book called The Girl From Felony Bay by J.E. Thompson. I had bought this book at the book fair and when I read the blurb on the back I was really into it. This book is about a girl whose dad was in the hospital in a coma for over a year due to an accident, where he was framed for a crime he did not commit. Abbey, the girl, has to live with her uncle and aunt who are not nice to her. To pay the debts for the jewels ‘he stole’ her home has been sold. There a girl named Bee moves in and both of them work over summer figuring out the No Trespassing signs and to clear Abbey’s dad’s name.
