“If a child is to keep alive his/her inborne sense of wonder,.,s/he needs the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him/her the joy, excitement, and mystery of the world we live in.” -Rachel Carson
This quote spoke to me in a very different manner that it’d rather speak to you too. What I found meaningful from this quote is that what she is trying to say is, the adult is nature itself. Once I read this, I right away thought of the book “The Boy and the Tree”. This quote makes me feel, more of wanting to be “The Girl and the Tree”. It’s amazing, nature will be in my life forever. The reason why I drew that painting is that I got to splatter my thoughts from this quote on to paper. I’m thinking of my favorite
