The Giant’s House is a romantic story that is about a unique love between two individuals who seem impossible for the to make a relationship. The heroes for this store is an eleven years old guy who has a defect in endocrine that make them grow forever and the librarian who is at twenty-five.
The heroes for this story face a lot of issues on their unusual love. The different of age was a big issue for others but not for them because Peggy did not see any childish behavior from James may be because he seemed like bigger than his real age in both his physical shape and personality. Also, they could see the common attributes such as curiosity and reading. Both Peggy and James were encouraging each other and they do not give up. Peggy Cort saw something not obvious on James, something that is hidden back of his disabilities, something unique on his personality that she cannot see it on other normal people. People often jagged other people specially people with disabilities from their physical shape and do not care about their depth. James was a great example for people who do not give up to his disability. Probable reading books make him more logical and seem bigger than his real age and that what makes Peggy attracted to him.
