Accounting has been known for a career that deals with numerous of numbers and money. It has also been knowing for receiving a well pay and a very secure job. Accouter are the people who deal with the money, they handle and keep any financial records for people and big companies. They are also responsible of keeping companies away from fraud and financial waste. As long as people are making money, there is plenty of jobs for accouters. If there is plenty of jobs for accouters, why do people see more man working as accouters than women? Woman have been knowing to have a lack in interest in careers that involve math. The pay wage for business companies has been un fair for decades. For example, a woman, who has a bachelor degree, is working the same position as the man, who has an associate degree. The man will have a higher paycheck than the women just for being a man. A man should not have a higher pay wage than a woman for the same job position, just for being a man. Woman are paid 79 cents for everyday dollar that men earn, according to the United States Census Bureau (Cowley). Thus, proven how women’s pay wage are not based on work ethic nor degrees but their gender. People may argue how surveys have shown women receiving more raises wage than man. Although this is true, man receive higher raises wage than women, which still results in man having pay wage. Women should get payed equally the same amount as man do. Women are capable of doing the same amount of work as men do. Although some people may argue how the law already prohibits gender-based pay discrimination, some companies still do it (Cowley). People are still not receiving the pay wage they deserve. There has been some situation where women have better work results than man but receive no profits. The situation leads to women leaving due to anger. Therefore, many women tend to not study in the business field due to the unequal pay …show more content…
It can possible teach people to see women as less value and unworthy to hold a leadership role in the frim. There is not enough women to probe the stereotype wrong. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the future business women to prove to people, women are capable of doing the same work as men, possibly even better. Women can also be full with confidence and give out an amazing presentation to high important people. Women can give out amazing results to companies, if they are treated equal as man. Some day in the future, people will see more successful women hold a leadership role and not question their work
