People ridicule the poor by calling them uneducated, but how is it their fault that the school system they grew up only taught them how to stay poor? In the Article, “Education Gap Between Rich and Poor Is Growing Wider, by Eduardo Porter”, “On the day they start kindergarten, children from families of low socioeconomic status are already more than a year behind the children of college graduates in their grasp of both reading and math.” They are taught the basic four subjects from textbooks, but they aren’t taught how to comply past the working class.
