My Wiffle Ball Game

Our daily wiffle ball game was about to start. There was a wiffle ball game every evening behind the apartment complex I lived in. The game was played in a luscious green grass field with a monstrous hill in left field. The usual squad was myself, Ricky, Justin, Michael, Jonathon, Latrell, and occasionally Greg but his parents usually make him stay inside and play monopoly or some other dumb board game. Our teams were always different from the last game. This time I was teamed up with Ricky and Mike. Ricky was our pitcher for this game. He had always been the main pitcher on my little league team for the past few years. He was always fearless and determined when a batter came up to bat. Right as Ricky finished his sentence a torrential downpour of rain started and we all picked up our gear and sprinted back to the apartment complex. When we got back to the complex we all split up and went to our rooms. The wiffle ball game getting canceled was the least of my worries though. I had baseball tryouts the next day which I was extremely excited for. When I got back to my family 's apartment I went straight to my room and finished my math homework. After that I studied for my big math test the next day. Tomorrow was the first day of baseball practice too so I made sure to get a good night 's sleep. When I woke up I went through my normal morning routine. When I arrived at math class I mentally prepared myself for the test. I didn’t have any troubles on the test so I was pretty confident that I’d get an A. The rest of the school day seemed to fly by and before I knew it I was at the fields about to start practice. Our coach called us out and told us to go to the position we wanted to play. I went to short as well as the coach 's son(Sean). There was nobody at second and the unpredictable
