The problem is that it is limited and we are using too much too fast, once it runs out we will not have anything else to power the world. The benefit of renewable energy sources is that they are inexhaustible, nonpolluting, no difficult refining process. The energy from solar power mainly comes from the sun which is almost everywhere, and it can be stored for nighttime or cloudy days. Solar power is quite expensive but according to the European Photovoltaic Industry Association, solar power could provide energy for more than one billion people by 2020 and 26 percent of global energy needs by …show more content…
They also emit high levels of carbon dioxide which is polluting the air and slowly increasing Earths temperature. Experts are note sure when we will run out of these energy sources, some say 50 years or some and others say 100-120 years. But these fuels are running out and eventually we will need something to take its place, we must turn to renewable energy sources. When our primary energy sources run out, our economy will crash because everything that runs on oil, gas, or coal will be useless. With these renewable energy sources we can efficiently power our world for as long as we need without having to worry about the sun, wind, or water ever running
