The organization has become eligible to function as a part of a co-curricular program of study for students interested in an education related career. As of August 2015, the organization will be known as Educators Rising. Educators Rising will continue the mission of Future Educators Association but it will also ensure teachers have the experience and skills needed to be ready for the classroom.
