Green living has encouraged us to not only take better care of the environment, but to take better care of ourselves. Young people are becoming more conscious and concerned about what they’re consuming. Organic and Non-Gmo foods are becoming more popular and affordable. People are looking closer at ingredients and are straying from processed prepackaged foods. Fresh, organic, and pesticide free are healthier, and better for our bodies. Having a healthy diet is necessary to having a healthy life. It takes a lot of thought, will power, and willingness to change to truly go green. Negative impacts of not going green affect our home life including money spent on utilities, our wildlife animals, moving forward species extinction, our society and us as consumers, buying local and supporting energy efficient, recycled, and organic products, and even our bodies and digestive tracts, keeping ourselves healthy. To go green is to make changes in our daily routine, and reduce our waste. When these changes are accepted and adopted into society, society itself starts to change.
