Only one point of view of the conflict is told in this book which was the steps of success for them. This is proven for an example that the reliance off the “arts to convey the republican message” (43) was necessary for the revolution to work. The people and the king were highly criticized and portrayed as bad people at points without evidence. There wasn’t any claim that was made that they did anything good for the French people before or during the revolution. It is possible being biased was necessary for the book to be triumphant to the purpose.

Multiple sources under these categories were used in the book and identified in footnotes. Therefore, the Frey twins did have multiple sources to prove their points in her book.
