This party functions under the three main documents, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. It was founded in the year 1992 and they have seven main principles. First is life, they believe every human being should have a life, from the beginning to the end. The second is liberty, and it means they are free to act in any way. The third one is family. Every married couple that consists of only a man and a woman can have children. The fourth is property, each human being can own their own property. The fifth one is constitution. Under this category they believe that they must interpret the founding documents in the way that they were written by the fathers. The sixth one is state rights. The states have any power granted to them as long as it is not for the government or if it is not prohibited. The last belief is American sovereignty. In this category they believe that the Government should protect everything including the United States and the people living in it (Constitution party website). This party is different from others in which it believes in the protection of the people and the earth. Their other beliefs are putting the public before all, a fair economy, supporting people’s needs, and most importantly protecting the planet from climate change. This party operates on four pillars and ten key values. The four pillars of the green party are ecology, social justice, grassroots democracy, and non-violence. These pillars are there main views and they always refer back to them. The key values are principles that they follow, but it is not an official document. Every state has adapted them and made them to fit their standards. Here is a list of the ten key values. Grassroots democracy is the first and basically this one says that everyone gets a say in the decisions that affect them. Social justice and equal opportunity is the second one. This value states that everyone should have equal opportunities in the resources that are provided for the public.
