There are many factors involved in one’s personal philosophy of nursing. It has been determined that one of the most important considerations, when formulating a personal nursing philosophy, is based on the actual person who will receive care. Health is a multifaceted description of conditions; the environment in which the client will receive care is critical in the healing process as well as personalized nursing care for each client. When all these factors are combined with the spirituality of the patient, healing of not only the body but the mind can occur.

They all involve one thing as the primary focus and that is the patient. The health and wellbeing of the patient is the single most important aspect of nursing. Nursing care plans are developed based on the needs of the patient and the family of the patient. Care that is provided by the nursing community is reflected directly by the level of health the patient can expect based on his or her environment or life situation. This in turn can be influenced significantly by the nursing care plan developed and implemented in order to stress to the patient changes that he or she can make to improve their quality of
