2. Targeting teenagers through adults, I know this targets that age group because of how mature the drama is.
3. This show appeal my emotional when callie was struggling in juvie and had no one supporting her and it made me feel sad because she was like my age and I can't even imagine myself in that situation .

1. This show is realistic because it depicts the many aspects of family life. The character show real emotion by showing how real people deal and react to real life events. Specifically in Episode 16 Season 3, one of the character within the show Jesus who is adopted searches for his biological father in an attempt to connect with him. Unfortunately the father express his feelings on how does not want to be a part of his life.
Jesus then begins to drink to cope with the father rejecting him. The way Jesus dealt with his situation is similar to how many people deal with tough situation by using drugs to cope with the difficulty in their lives. The show is diverse and showcases the lives of many people across many races. Lena a character in the show is African American while her partner is white. The children adopted by Lena and Stef, are important in showing how their experience of adoption have complicated their feelings about their own cultural identity because they are not of the same race. Also Lena doesn’t only have an African American parents, because she was raised by both black and white parents. She didn’t have an easy child hood due to her own complications with racial identity and sexuality. The show equal balanced with race and diversity which allows each character to be
