Reading this article, has given me lots of new information and knowledge about how different things were back in the day. Personally, I don’t agree with the way justice was given to people just because in some ways they didn’t show any when it came to important situations like Fidel’s story. But I do agree on Fidel’s explanation on why he has chosen to hide and not speak much about his story. It was a very drastic change in his life in many ways.
Some ideas that i considered meaningful to me was when his own family did not even recognize him. He was very beat up and a different person that it was hard to tell that it was him. Also, when he was taken to his family, no one thought it was a good idea to take Fidel to the hospital to get

Fidel Lopez, the forgotten victim of Florence and Normandie avenues has its controversial ideas that have its reasons which I have disagreed and agreed with. Steve Lopez makes arguments in this reading that lead to the questionable question to where Fidel Lopez is and how has he become. Fidel Lopez has his reasons to make his judgements without hesitation, which makes him the man he is today after the incident in Florence and Normandie. In “The Forgotten Victim of Florence and Normandie,” Lopez argues “it’s Denny who remains in the collective consciousness when we think about Florence and Normandie” (2).…
