Throughout the time that I have been alive, the debate between pro life and pro choice has always been a big one. Usually, people with strong biblical beliefs side with pro life because they look at it as if you are killing a human and a chance at life given from God. Someone with very strong biblical beliefs is former Heisman Trophy winner, Tim Tebow. Tim Tebow led the Florida Gators to two National Championships, was a 3x All American, was selected in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft, and lastly, he always made sure his christian beliefs came through in everything he did. Whether that meant writing biblical phrases on his eye black, ending every one of his speeches with God Bless, and lastly, starring in controversial commercials defending pro life.…

The major argument with abortion is taking the life of an unborn human. Fetuses are not independent of themselves, more so they are very dependent on their carrier for nutrition, oxygen and other supplements. Therefore, the child will not be able to survive outside the womb by itself. Abortion is ending the pregnancy, not ending the life of the baby. Pro-life activists argue fetuses are able to feel pain.…

While the boundaries on where life’s sanctity begins and ends, most can agree that life is precious and should be preserved. When it comes to abortion, pro-life and pro-choice advocates both care deeply about life and the importance of it, but in completely different ways. Pro-life advocates fight for lives of the unborn, stating the basic human right to life still applies, and that no one holds the right to take that away. Pro-choice advocates fight for the mothers carrying the child, or fetus, as life simply does not begin until they’ve exited the womb. The death penalty is also a great example of what or whose lives we deem valuable.…

Think about the last time you had a family dinner celebrating a newborn in the family, a party for a one year old baby, or maybe a baptismal ceremony. How did you feel about the precious baby? Think about the last time you were watching an old family video on an archaic cassette from 10 to 20 years ago. There you were jolly as you could possibly be, playing in the park on the swings, or messing around with pots and pans on the kitchen floor. Abortion has been a great topic of debate for many years, both in terms of law/rights and in morality/religion. The constant debate has split people into two sides: Pro-Choice and Pro-Life. Those who are Pro-Choice believe that women have a right to decide the fate of their body, health, and life. They personally may not get an abortion, but they feel that it is still the right of the mother to choose. Abortion prevents unsafe pregnancies, protects women 's right to choose, liberates women from patriarchal control over women 's sexual and reproductive lives, and allows the mother to choose whether, when, and how often to have a child.…

Many people don’t know the reason behind abortions. For instances, if a woman is raped or impregnated and is forced to keep the child, then the child will be a constant reminder that she was sexually abused. Not only will this lead to many psychological problems to the mother, it will also affect the child. The child might not get love he/she deserves from the mother or anyone in the family, which can cause the child to go into isolation, depression and have other emotional and mental problems. Another reason why a woman might get an abortion is because of financial reasons.…
