Question 1: That to what extent does the food advertising manipulation affects adolescents in the United States of America?

Manipulation is a word used and exercised by many companies and big corporations for their benefits. One the major branch of manipulation is advertisement manipulation whether it is through media, billboards or newspapers it seems to be everywhere. Then there is food manipulative advertisement. The use of manipulative techniques to lure the potential customers to buy consumer products that they do not necessarily need. Advertisements which manipulate people into buying unhealthy processed food in other words junk food which typically is high in fats, cholesterol and consists of added sugars. One of the leading causes of death among the US citizens is obesity. America currently has the most number of obese adolescents than ever. This could lead to more deaths in coming years because of cardiovascular risk factor formed due to obesity such as coronary heart disease, type 2 diabetes and many more. Therefore, the question arises that to what extent does the food advertising manipulation affects adolescents in the United States of America? Firstly, because of food manipulative advertisement the number of obese adolescents is increasing so rapidly in the US.
