A-10 proves it can land pretty much anywhere Since July 20th, four A-10s from the 354th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron of US Air force have practiced landing at an airfield that that has been decommissioned since 2000, near Nowe Miasto, in Poland. The cracked, crumbling runway is in bad shape from long lack of any maintenance, as the past Polish unit stationed there used helicopters, and conditions at the former Warsaw Pact airfield are poor in general. Not a problem for the A-10, which is nearly immune to FOD (Foreign Object Damage), usually caused by trash or debris being sucked into the engine air intakes during takeoffs and landings, thanks to its engines and their air intakes being mounted far from the surface of the runway.…

I’m unsure if I think a universal standard is the best way to go as I believe a universal standard takes away from the practitioner’s ability to freely interact with the patient. Also, every patient is different so a universal standard can truly be universal. I know that I have seen people who get offended when using their last name and tell me they’re too young to be referred to as Mr. or Ms., it’s all patient dependent and while being patient dependent it’s important that it is made known that people are different. I believe this is a simple conversation that should just be had, if you as an employee are not comfortable leading the conversation mention it to your boss and that person will have the conversation. Up until this point, there have been two things that impact flash photography and that is this assertion that only the f-number and the ISO matter. The reason that the shutter speed isn’t taken into account is because when a flash goes off, it gives off its light very quickly. No matter how fast your shutter speed is, it will not be faster than that initial burst of light from the flash. And if your shutter is open longer, your flash won’t give off any extra light either. However, there is a shutter speed that you need to use and it is specific to your camera.…
