Candle Research Paper

The candle that was observed in class isn’t just any ordinary candle that you can pick up from your local corner store. This candle is special; and every candle is made the same but each candle is unique in the sense that the shape, pattern and style they have can always come out differently. This candle in particular is somewhat of a yellowish brown tint. This candle has marks all over it as if it were born with freckles. Along with the way it looks; it looks it has some more marks along the sides of the candle. So imagine a smog yellow color, with tiny brown spots all over the candle. Along with some rare brown streaks through the body of the candle. The body of the candle was very strong but had a soft feel to it. It doesn’t matter what you do, this candle can be easily put out. The length of the wick runs through the core of the body of the candle. So that way this candle can easily be burned for a long period of time. While the candle burns it melts the wax that the candle is made out of. So over a period of time while this candle is being burned it creates a crater in this candle and it really changes the way this candle looks in so different many ways. For example the candle becomes shorter in size, the wick shortens, the life of the candle decreases, the crater grows and then eventually the candles ridges will start to cave into the crater that is being created by the flame. This crater is being created because the fire is melting the wax. As the wick gets shorter through the core of the body. The sides of the candle become thinner and then they start to cave in. While this crater in the candle is growing deeper the flame will always continue to be the same. The flame continues to go and do its thing while the wax keeps
