When his father died he became stuck with the job. Eddie worked there until he died in a tragic accident in his 70’s. He tried to save a girl from a falling cart of a modern tower-like ride. The cart crushed Eddie and he then traveled to heaven. Eddie arrived at an old version of Ruby Pier like the one from his childhood. He felt like a kid again and ran around the park until he found the first person he would meet in heaven. Eddie found the Blue Man in the old “freak show” tent. Then the Blue Man told Eddie about his life. The Blue Man explained that he turned himself blue by taking silver nitrate for his anxiety. He then explained how Eddie killed him. One day Eddie ran into the road after a baseball as a child, a seemingly harmless event. Eddie didn’t know that he caused the Blue Man to swerve his Model T into an alley where he crashed into a wagon. He became so anxious about the wreck that he died from a heart
