The heart in leadership shows a spirit of community. The community, then, celebrates the purpose of obtaining goals set forth in leadership. Leadership experiences involve strategy, planning, effective communication, being punctual, and reliance of others. In the five practices the author values the importance of utilizing each one of leadership part. After all, what is leadership if it does not involve reaching for the highest level to conquer or having the right attitude to achieve? Leadership is what the author expects of self and what others expect as well or a process called “mirror matching.” The author’s strengths emerge best in leadership with a peace of mind. The reason being, nothing is ever accomplished successfully in a moment of frustration. The Bible teaches in God’s word, Isaiah 26:3, “The steadfast of mind, You will keep in perfect peace because he trust in You.” There is much value in having a peaceful mindset. No leader can function well without the proper rest. A well-rested leader is bound to achieve the goal and is well-motivated in doing so. Again, Kouzes and Posner states, that, “One of the toughest aspects of being a leader is that a leader is always on stage. People are always watching leaders, always talking about a leader, always testing a leader credibility. That is why setting the right example is so important, and why it is essential to make use of all the tools you have available to set an example.” Having proper rest is an important tool that shows strength in the purpose of driven leaders. A leader has desires, as well. That is, a leader wants to show skills in order in an organization, which is a strength to identify too. No one wants to work with an unorganized leader. A leader identifies the strength by the performance in leadership. The performance, then, shows the leader’s order in prioritizing and concentrating on the importance of an organization.
