In my own words, the five goals of professionalism presented in Chapter 1 of Morrison’s course are:
1) Promoting Child Development in which a professional works to promote the” physical, social mental and language goals of a child starting from birth through age eight years. “ (Morrison, 2015, p.29) This is where the knowledge of a professional comes into play with being able to teach children at a rate that children understand and promote a healthy beginning of life for them. You help them grow physically, mentally and culturally. In this stage, DAP is detrimental to the growth of a young child. As a professional, embracing children with special learning need in your classroom is essential for the growth of any professional. In all
