The main characters in the book The Five dysfunction of a Team by author Patrick Lencioni are executives at DecisionTech, new company in Silicon Valley. All very successful in their field of expertise, they are unable to lead this new company toward success. Until Kathryn is hired as a CEO and shows them what they are missing. Teamwork. By teaching them how to work as a team she give the startup company chance to succeed.

My responsibility was all the task associated with heifer and dry cows operations like health checks, vaccination, moving, breeding heifers, health checks of dry cows and computer data entry. Rick wanted to be informed. He wanted to know if there were any problems or issues which needed to be resolved and if I need help resolving it. Otherwise the day to day operation of heifer crew was up to me. I made a plans for the crews work and consulted it with Rick. He knew what was going on around the farm and he made sure my plan did not disrupted other projects at the farm. Otherwise I was fully in charge of my crew. It was me who decided when and how we will complete different task. I was very empowered employee and I liked it. What I didn’t liked was the fact that Rick never give me or anyone else any positive feedback. The owner is retiring and the business is being sold. We have bank appraisers walking through our workplace and taking pictures, we have the potential new owners learning how to make cheese, but nobody is talking to us about upcoming changes. We don’t know when they are going to sign contract, if they going to keep employees, or what is their vision for the future. I react to this situation by registering to more classes than originally planed. If all my classes will open up, I will be graduating in December 2016 instead of spring
