The first habit is being proactive. Being proactive is good because teenager could take control of their action and determine how exactly life is going to be treating them. For example, if you were to do something bad you would get a consequence. If you were to do something good, then life would treat you fair and give you something fair, but it all depends on your action. Being proactive could lead to success in the future. There is also an opposite of proactive, which is called reactive. Being reactive is a bad thing because you show off an attitude that could represent your personality, which is bad. For example, if you were at work and say if your boss wasn’t such a jerk things could’ve been different. Think of it like proactive is good, …show more content…
What this means is that you have to be an active listener. Many people can tell the way you listen by your body language expressions. It is also disrespectful if you don’t listen to someone because you show that you don 't have any interest in listening. For example, if you were to hear someone make a speech and you start looking at something else you could probably tell the person that is speaking is feeling no respect from that person. It is important to hear other people 's perspective and for them to hear your perspective. There are also five poor listening styles which are spacing out, pretend listening, selective listening, word listening, self-centered listening. These are bad habits you should avoid. Some people also judge, which is also a thing most people should fix because it is probably you 're not listening and giving too much judgment about the person speech. Teamwork is very important because it will help produce work faster and it is very challenging. You could learn valuable lesson from participating in teamwork. Synergy mostly applies to sports like being on a soccer team. Synergy could also mean the definition of getting it done because it is in a group. Being synergize also means being open-minded and not thinking you’re right. Being open minded is kind because you could share your experiences with other people. And if you’re always right you could never really communicate with people.
