Crusades The crusades were four bands of Christ driven warriors. The crusades showed a remarkable increase in siege technology. To learn about how the crusades increased in there siege technology we need to know more about the crusades and what they actually were. To start off there wasn't just one crusade clan. There was four groups of crusades that fought for the same man and for the same reason. The city of Jerusalem was under attack by the Turks muslims so the people of Jerusalem had to fight in crusades. The Turks had already taken over Jerusalem but the people were still determined to win there city back. In 1096 the first Crusades went to battle with the Muslims, the Turks crushed the Europeans at Cibotus. After that battle having
