I would like to thank you for rewarding me with the Finley-Ledall scholarship. This 2016-2017 academic year is the first year I have taken out a private loan by myself to pay for school, so this scholarship is significantly going to help me out and lighten my financial burden of paying for school this year. I am very appreciative to be a recipient of this scholarship.
I grew up in the mountains of Conifer, Colorado and moved up to Greeley to go to school here at UNC a couple years ago. I am a junior this year studying finance, and now that I am finally able to start taking my major courses I look forward to this year and the next since I will be taking classes that I find to be interesting.
