The field of psychology can open the doors of a various amount of career opportunities, but the overall outcome is determined by the individual. Within this paper, one will discuss future goals that will be actively placed into action to achieve a successful career within the field of psychology and leadership coaching. Impacting the Field of Psychology "Executive coaching is a class of interventions defined by a one-to-one relationship in which the coach and coachee work together to identify and achieve organizationally, professionally, and personally beneficial developmental goals"(Coultas & Salas, 2015, p. 298). In order to properly understand, and analyze the specific topic, it is essential that the practitioner revert back to previous studies to compare and contrast the current studies. The knowledge gained through research study would allow one to properly address the situation, that will yield a productive outcome. Research is to be used as a tool or direction, a guide from continued mistakes, and a spreadsheet of answers for unresolved questions in psychology. Vision of Psychology Personally, one 's practice within the field of psychology in collaboration with leadership coaching will be a road of trials a tribulations. The idea of having a vision that has no blemishes or in denial of the reality of struggles is not a productive assumption. One 's desires include a successful leadership coaching practice, which will make a powerful positive impact in the community and personal/professional lives of others. As a coach the goals are directed towards the individual not only hearing and accepting what is being said but also, for the individual to exercise an action plan to reach his/her desired destination at a level that will produce an achievable outcome. There are many areas in the professional field that can be explored with a bachelor 's degrees; such as case management and social work. Consequently, in order to explore areas such as counseling and various areas of clinical study, a masters degree is required.
