The Faults in our Pride
The Conspirators killed a man to take over, the same men killed themselves to keep him from others overcoming them. Julius Caesar was written by William Shakespeare,and is suspected to be one of the first plays performed in the Globe theater. Pride is shown by how the men react to their surrounding, and the power given to them, and the way they treat each other. The Definition of pride is, a feeling or deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from one's own achievements. Julius Caesar is full of characters whose pride has overcome their mind: Caesar, Antony, Cassius, Casca, and even our stoic Brutus. By this Pride it is either the justification of our conscience, or the love of one’s ambition in life. Caesar plays King
