Silverado's Short Story

filled with old hay wagons, tractors, balers and much more. In the distance up ahead she could see a big barn and a big house. Silverados confusion was only growing.
They slowly approached the barn. Silverado could see other cows through the windows standing directly in the middle of the barn. When the bull and her got into the barn all the other cows stood up, but only on two legs! Silverado had found other cows like her! Silverado felt joy and happiness growing inside of her as the fear and confusion went away.Silverado just couldn 't believe what she was seeing. There was six other cows that was able to do what Silverado could do. Silverado wondered if there was even more. With the six cows standing in front of her, there was also cows

The Elder that stood in the middle just stared blankly at her. The Elder then jerked its head to the side as if telling her to follow it, and she did. She knew it was a bad idea considering the fact that she followed that other bull and look where it brought her. She followed the Elder to the other end of the barn, where there was a big painting that stretched all the way across the barn wall. In the middle of the painting there was a giant picture of Silverado, just standing there looking out into the barn. Silverado was confused. How do they know what she looks like? She ran through the barn and into the barnyard where she could see the other Elders. Silverado had no idea on if all the Elders wanted to hurt her or if it was just this one. So she didn 't take any chances and just kept running. The bull that had brought her to the Elders noticed her before the Elders did. He glanced at her and then glanced away and then glanced back when he noticed what she was doing. Silverado ran even harder when she noticed that not only was the bad Elder still following her but now the bull was too. They had gained the attention of the other Elders and all the other cows and calfs. The Elders looked over in interest and fear. Interest because they didn 't know what was happening and fear because they didn 't want Silverado to be hurt. The ones who had fear in their eyes suddenly got filled with anger. They knew one of their own had betrayed them. They knew all along that one of them would choose the bad side. They just didn 't expect the Elder who did. They should’ve known considering the prophecy painting had a black bull as the one who would betray them but they never could believe that it was him. They couldn 't believe that he would betray them for the coyote
