The Nuclear Family Emotional Process describes the relationship of patterns. The process discussed the growth of the back bone from whether you were raised in a single parent home or by step parents. The process took interest in the levels of tension and how the family dealt with stress. Researchers try to discover where the symptoms develop and the well-being of each individual in the family. Some therapist thought that it would be best if each couple members experience each other in new ways, the therapist acts to dislodge the self-reinforcing, circular interactional loops that are maintaining the couple’s presenting problem, and helps the couple to stabilize more functional loops that are problem-free (Simon, 2006). There are five unique steps in to help improve a couple’s relationship. The first step is changing the views of the relationship, which is not playing the blame game.
