A Story is a creation of a creative and imaginative mind. Whatever kind of story it may be, it takes a big deal of creativity to come up with an intriguing story that keeps the reader as well as listener interested in the story. One such story was converted into a critically acclaimed motion picture named “The Fall”. Tarsem Singh’s fictional masterpiece was released in 2006. Although the movie does not fit into a particular genre, it has many sections of drama and fantasy. The movie follows Roy played by Lee pace, Alexandria played by Catinca Untaru and their comrades through a journey of truly epic proportions.

These techniques range from background music to use of props. Such techniques always end up making the difference between a good movie and a mediocre one. One of the most efficiently used techniques in the movie were Lighting, Costumes, Acting and Music. The most important part of a movie is acting, it is the single most aspect of a movie. Moviedepends on how well actors are able to convey their feelings to the audience. Viewers like a movie because they feel related to the character that is being portrayed by the actor. The acting in this movie is pleasing as main characters wonderfully portray their characters, but it is Roy and Alexandria's character who steal the show. Lee Pace's work as Roy is amazing as he is able to convey all his anger and frustrations with life precisely to such an extent that audience start feeling sorry for him. Catinca's work as Alexandria is also commendable as she pulls of emotionally intense scenes with ease. She also maintains her innocence throughout the movie. Costumes were the other important factor in making this movie. Costumes were designed keeping the characters in mind, like in hospitals characters wore white clothes. Similarly characters in the Roy's story were given the costumes keeping their backgrounds and ethnicity in mind. Character named Indian wore turban and dressed like a Sikh warrior from India. Darwin wore a fur coat which was done to notify audience that he was a botanist. Odious' henchmen wore costumes which was also worn by the people who took X-ray in the hospitals this shows the clever use of symbols in the
