In my family, one of our traditions are the Creta’s Christmas Dinner. The dinner symbolizes my family's ethnicity that pulls our family together containing a half German, half Italian meal. Every year my dad and I plan our annual fishing trip to the Quinault River for our bonding time. Every October, my dad and I take a three hour drive all the way up to Moclips playing 80’s music all the way. With our terrible singing voices, we sing along to every song and turn the lyrics into different rhyming words laughing all the way. This portion of the trip is part of what makes this trip so fun and memorable and that aspect is part of what forms my fun, outgoing identity. Another portion of the trip that makes it so fun is the night before the trip we go to Albertsons and buy our morning bagels, smoked salmon, and cream cheese for our traditional morning breakfast. In the morning when we wake up from not being able to sleep from the amount of excitement, we prepare our bagels.
