A major component of the 2010 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) is the promotion of new models for payment and care delivery that control costs while improving quality. Reflections Researching key political events, forces and socio-culturally-driven decisions that have been made over the course of Australian's civilisation will allow students to become aware of the causal relationship between political decisions and the formation of the Australian culture. Research, especially when applied in a group dynamic, facilitates authentic learning (Vygotsky, 1978) - as seen when the student's researched the evolution of the Australian culture. In addition, the process of researching aligns with the second stage of the 5E’s model – ‘Explore’ –allowing students to gain insight into a concept or idea (Bybee, 1997). In such manner, Alissa perfectly exemplifies our unreliable society, whereas Garla fills in as the background to the hero by a method for differentiating her in relatively every respect. She fills in as a prime example of the standard and turns into the exemplification of the unattainable flawlessness most people pine for.…

Fitness and Goal Setting Knowledge Fitness and goal setting have been the main topic of conversation in this class. Whether we need to work on legs or arms today, or what we are going to do in the future. I learned that it is better to do quantity over quality when it comes to fitness workouts, and that it is always important to stretch and warm up your muscles before a workout to ensure you do not strain any muscles. For goal setting, I learned that if you pick a specific goal that you wish to achieve, like say to reach +10 in the fitness flexibility test, you can keep working towards that goal step by step, or in this case number by number, to reach your goals efficiently. When reaching towards a goal, you cannot just make it in one try…

Set Point Theory, put simply, is the theory that your body changes the way in which it functions in order to maintain an amount of fat that it has established as normal. This is the basis of why genetics could be the cause of obesity in family lines and why there is so much controversy surrounding weight loss (Thompson). How the weight is maintained at a constant point is not fully known. Additional scientific testing may show that just maintaining a diet is not a good way to change your set weight or even to lose weight. This may leave exercise as the optimal option.…
