The Chronicles of Narnia is known for their talking animals, centaurs, dwarfs, giants and minotaurs. One of the most important characters in this book is Aslan. Aslan is the king and the God of Narnia. He guides the 4 children on how to fight the White Witch and even sacrifices his own life for Edmund. The night that Aslan was killed he comes back to life the next morning of the battle and defeats the White Witch once and for all. Mr. Tumnus is the next creative character, he is half fawn and half human. Mr. Tumnus initially tries to kidnap Lucy and take her to the White Witch but instead he does not take her and he sacrifices his life to keep Lucy safe. How this started was because the children got sent away to be protected from WWII so they had to go to an orphanage house that was humongous, and had many rooms; and one of those rooms included the enchanted closet. The closet plays a major roll because it leads into the world of Narnia, the closet is what made this book come to life. The closet is just sitting in the empty room with a cloth over it to make sure no one goes in it and realize the power that it has. Another setting that is important is Narnia of course. Narnia holds the many people and creatures that take place in this book. Narnia has the different seasons like fall, summer, winter, and spring. It looks over a beautiful ocean full of mermaids and fascinating fish. It is mostly a medieval place that is ruled by the king Aslan and the enemy which is the Witch Witch who is trying to take over Narnia. The White Witch lives in her castle with her servants that is made out of ice and in the dungeon are all the creatures that she has frozen because they were being disobedient.
