From the beginning animals, namely dogs, have been considered to be man’s best friend. If this is the case why are animals being treated without the same respect that we would give our human best friend? The only difference is that dogs cannot talk back and have a real conversation with you like your human best friend could. Dogs are loyal and they can not hurt you like a person can so why would you want to treat your animal poorly when all they ever do is love you unconditionally. Animals do their best to please us and occasionally they fail but we as humans do not always succeed in things either so what is so different about animals not being able to constantly please us. We should be treating all living things, from humans to animals to plants, the same way that we should treat anything with respect. Animals deserve our respect, they do so much for us and they should be praised for the good things they do. As a reward, they should not be tested on and they should be given the same treatment as other human beings.
