Beginning in adolescence, society has taught that obtaining success is the ultimate honor. Success is craved by a five-year-old in Kindergarten or a fifty-year-old CEO of a major company. What if, however, one could not obtain success, or could not focus on projects for extended periods of time? Taking a cognitive enhancement drug could, potentially, solve all of these problems. These drugs, however, pose unethical implications. Cognitive enhancement drugs raise red flags because availability is limited to the select few, long-term effects are unknown, and reasoning behind drug use is unfounded.
