Ever since the dawn of man, there has been one common ability that has appeared in every part of humanity’s history. It is known as the ability to lead by example. From the rise of Rome to the establishment of the United States as a world power, this ability has had a prolific effect on the course of history. The ability to lead by example has proven useful in the past as some of the greatest leaders in history have lead through this philosophy, and their leadership has inspired even those who were completely lost to darkness. And, it is important for leaders to push themselves and encourage those around him. These two points not only prove the importance of the ability, but it also proves the significance of retaining it for the future. …show more content…
This is an undeniable truth as the world needs more leaders who can empower their affiliates to solve problems that will undoubtedly plague the future. These problems include solving the gap between the rich and the poor, a need for better science and technology to combat future diseases, and to save the Earth through conservation efforts. Without leaders who can lead by example, the world is destined for failure, but that is not the case. Every day, there are leaders in the making who are learning of the past greats and their styles or they are forging their own style of leadership. The future is bright, and will forever stay bright as long as there are leaders who are willing to inspire those around him/her. In conclusion, the reality of leading by example is a true reality. It isn’t false as it would have been impossible for people to have arrived at this point of time without leadership through example. As history has shown us, it is necessary for a leader to lead through example. Leaders such as Winston Churchill, and Jack Welch have proven this fact.
