My awareness of the epidemic of homelessness was manifested in prepubescence. Occasionally, I had a glimpse of poverty stricken individuals in my community. Each time I encountered them, I was immediately overcome with feelings of compassion, indignation, and sorrow. Additionally, I felt compelled to provide a monetary contribution on every occurrence. In addition, my thoughts regarding the segment were, that a national strategy should be constructed and implemented to abolish homelessness. Moreover, the most powerful emotion that I experienced was compassion. This clip re-awakened my interest in combating homelessness.
