The topic that interests me is grief that involves death. Violent crime oftentimes leads to death. Similarly to what you stated, those that are directly affected are harmed and those surrounding them are harmed too. A real- life example of this is the police attacks that are targeted at African Americans and the fear and trauma it creates. As a result of this violent crime that often times leads to death, "more than 80 percent of blacks say that police are too quick to use deadly force and they are more likely to use it against a black person."
