I think that climate change is a very serious issue in today’s age. Scientists have high confidence that worldwide temperatures will continue to rise for at least 20 years to come, mostly due to pollution (that heats up the Earth) produced by human activities. With how the climate is acting now, as in the temperatures are rising nonstop and that’s is causing The Arctic Ocean to become essentially ice free in summer before mid-century. All because of climate change, as we advance into the future with new technology, we gain more problems with our own earth's atmosphere. To the people who cause the pollution from multiple things. So people to blame climate change on the rich.

The reports by our government and to science research institute outlined, the possible effects on the human health, as the results of extreme weather, or air pollution and the UV radiation. There also have been other changes of extreme weather events over the past several decades. Also heat waves have becoming more frequent and instant and stronger. Especially in the West. Mark Bittman, author of the article “The Aliens Have Landed” published on the New York Times April 2, 2014 issue, argues that we need to take action to stop climate change. Bittman begins to support his argument by comparing our ignorant behavior towards climate change to the “retreating French” during World War II. He then informs the recent news from the Panel on Climate Change to emphasize the negative effects, and sarcastically compares them to aliens invading Earth. He next proposes a public works project and provides several examples of what can be done to start addressing climate change before it is too late. The author’s purpose is to…

A great many Americans are not concerned about or do not believe climate change exists because it does not affect their daily routine. In the Akerlof article, a number of shoreline residents were set up in small group deliberation to discuss rising sea levels and its effects on their community. The top priorities for these residents included material objects such as private property damage or loss. One of the main takeaways from the Bowers article was that audience segmentation is important and what is even more important is finding something each audience cares about. One way to segment these audiences is through their news consumption.…

Alejandro Vieyra Mr. Moody English 4 5 December 2016 Climate Change Must Stop Climate change is the changing of weather patterns in regions all around the world. The primary cause of climate change is the appreciable amount of fossil fuel emissions that humans are sending into the atmosphere. These emissions consist of carbon dioxide that ultimately retain more heat in our atmosphere than needed, thus elevating the temperature everywhere around the globe and damaging ecosystems greatly. Many people, including politicians and scientists, believe that climate change is simply a hoax. Although some prefer to believe that climate change is fake and we have nothing to worry about, there are concrete facts that prove these individuals wrong.…

Another argument for countries not to take the threats of climate change so seriously is that climate change does not even exist. According to the Union of Concerned Scientist, over the past 130 years the average temperature has increased by 1.5 degrees Fahrenheit, and half of that has increased in the last 35 years. This is due to the human population increasingly emitting carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. So the threat of climate change is definitely evident and its effects are rapidly…
