Childhood obesity is a growing problem in our society. There are many causes as to who is responsible, with both parents and society sharing the blame. Clearly, staying active and eating healthy is important, as is education for consumers regarding the food they eat, and how it affects them. Being obese as a child can cause huge health problems not only in the present, but in the future as well. Not only is it a physical problem, but childhood obesity has lasting psychological effects. These effects are due to uneducated americans, lack of physical activities,and weak parental control.
