Book Report On Epic This book report is on the book called Epic by Conor Kostick about a multitude of things on the human race being on a new planet. The book starts off with main character whose name is Erik and his father looking out of the window waiting for Erik’s mother to walk in. She walks in and says that she’s dead. She is dead inside a Massive MMORPG called Epic. All violence is banned on this new Earth. To settle disputes the disputers fight against each other in the game in a public arena. The most powerful players in the world run Central Allocations which since the richest players in the game are on Central Allocations they Control the world. Erik’s mom loses a fight against Central Allocations and loses all of her in game money which is what the economy is based off of. …show more content…
Everybody on the team besides Erik’s dad dies to the Central Allocation players and Erik’s dad wins the fight. This leads to Erik’s dad getting sent to exile because he had punch the main villain whose name is Ragnok years ago. Ragnok is now on Central Allocations. Erik decides to create a Character namer Cinderella and but all his points into beauty and chooses a buccaneer class.
Erik convinces his friends to help him kill a dragon which would make them the first in 30 years to do so. The people who killed the last dragon are on Central Allocations. Erik and his friends do it and succeed in doing so. Central Allocations decides to have the executioner watch them. The executioner is a player with best items in the game and he can kill players in the game outside of arenas. He is used by Ragnok mostly but he can also be used by the other members of central
