I will discuss the environmental practices of Coca-Cola, to further your interest in order to invest in the company. Coca-Cola as a company want to “provide the right products, responsibly, and to promote healthy and active lifestyles. Obesity is a problem, not just in the United States, but in the entire world. There were 1.4 billion adults that were overweight last year. Coca-Cola wants to decrease the number of people that are overweight. People look at Coca-Cola and assume that they are an unhealthy company, but in reality they are doing all they can do to reduce the obesity rate in the world. For advertisements, Coca-Cola doesn’t target a specific audience under 12 years of age. That’s why when you flip through kids channels, you don’t see any commercials from Coca-Cola, on Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and the Disney Channel. Coca-Cola uses the same marketing skill on websites or apps that target kids under the age the 12. In Elementary and Middle schools, Coca-Cola bans the sale of their drinks in cafeterias. The only way that Coca-Cola makes to a schools vending machine is in the teacher’s longue and or breakroom. It restricts the children from having a sugar rush in the classroom. Recently more and more Coca-Cola products offer drinks with little or no calories at all. Coca-Cola is editing some ingredients of their famous drinks to provide healthier options for the consumer.
